Manager resume: scope, ownership and business impact
The examples below demonstrate effective structure. Never copy figures or skills you cannot verify.
Professional summary — example
Operations manager with eight years of experience, responsibility for a 28-person team and an annual budget equivalent to PLN 12 million. Improved resource planning, reducing overtime cost by 18%, and introduced quality metrics. Replace all figures with evidence you can defend.
How to demonstrate management
For every role, show team size, geographic scope, budget, processes, goals and results. “Managed a team” does not explain whether you led four or eighty people or what changed because of your decisions.
Achievements over duties
Strong bullets cover revenue, margin, delivery, quality, retention or productivity. Include a period and baseline. Do not claim an organisation-wide result without explaining your contribution.
ATS and recruiter risks
Avoid relying on soft labels such as “passionate leader.” Use standard market job titles and explain internal titles where needed. Place the most important scope and results in the first half of the document.
